Trenton Systems provides high-security rugged servers made to exceed specification and requirements in adverse airforce environments.

Built in-house in the US, our reliable ruggedised computers are used for global military applications.

Computer servers for military environments

Our products feature single or dual Xeon® Scalable Performance Servers, in addition to double data rate four (DDR4) RAM and advanced peripheral component interconnect express (PCIe) technology for enhanced performance.

All rugged servers have undergone intense stress tests to ensure optimal performance and are certified to a number of military standards that include MIL-STD-461, MIL-S-901 and MIL-STD-810.

Trenton Systems offers rugged blade servers with one or two units.
Rugged servers are available with serial AT attachment (SATA) drives for storage.
Serves with one to five units can be provided with up to 18 PCIe slots.
Our JBOD servers are designed to provide end-to-end connection at speeds of up to 27GB/s.

With an industry-leading lifecycle of more than 11 years, our computers offer continued availability, reducing time and costs of re-designing, qualifying and certifying new products.

Our experienced in-house engineers work to innovate solutions to meet your exact requirements.

Rugged servers for airforce applications

Our rugged servers are designed for high-speed and powerful one to five unit (1U to 5U) rack mount computers that support multiple processor boards with Dual Intel® Xeon® Scalable Performance CPUs.

In addition, they can support up to 1.5TB DDR4-2933 memory with eight or 12 error-correcting code (ECC) registered memory module (RDIMM) slots. Up to 18 PCIe slots are standard, or more with our expansion chassis. Serial AT attachment (SATA) or non-volatile memory express (NVMe) drives are supported for storage.

Military-grade rugged workstations

Trenton Rugged™ Core™ Series Workstations offer military-grade ruggedness with 1U to 5U. These support 64GB DDR4-2400 memory with four ECC DIMM slots. Similarly to our rugged servers, they have up to 18 PCIe slots with more available using our expansion chassis, as well as SATA or NVMe drives for storage.

Reliable blade servers for military use

Our rugged 1U or 2U blade servers are made to provide versatility for any programme or application with tool-less processor board removal and redundant power supplies.

There are up to four 1U or two 2U high-server blades, and clients can choose between single or dual CPU session border controllers (SBC) and customise internal or front-access / hot-swap drives.

JBOD servers for multiple connections

Our JBOD servers have 24 U.2 NVMe solid-state drives (SSDs) with up to 27GB/s read and write speeds that provide end-to-end PCIe connection from multiple hosts to the drives.

Trenton’s JBOD servers offers simultaneous communication between eight drives while reducing latency. The server is platform-agnostic, allowing clients to plug in any SBC while a gigabit ethernet (GbE) management port offers direct connection to the BMC.

Our highly innovative rugged chassis design is designed to hold up to eight SSDs without requiring any tools.

Durable customised processor boards

Our rugged processor boards have been designed to exceed complex computing requirements and operate at peak performance.

Trenton manufactures and assembles its products in the US, allowing it to control the supply chain at the component level. We can create any processor board according to customer requirements, including single or dual CPUs and customised I/O interfaces.

Expanded PCIe backplanes

Trenton’s PCIe backplanes are designed with up to 18 slots each, and this can be added to using our Gen3 PCIe expansion kit.

Our processor boards can be simply plugged into the backplane to quickly extend the number of PCIe slots.
