Sital now offers a number of solutions for its customers, including 1553 IP cores for FPGA in various configurations and back-end interfaces, 1553 components and various form factors of boards and 1553 testers.

Combining our expertise in Mil-STD-1553 with comprehensive knowledge in VHDL and FPGA development, Sital provides the best-in-class IP cores for 1553. All our IP cores can work at any FPGA (Altera, Xilinx, Lattice, Actel, Aeroflex, QuickLogic), using any clock frequency and utilise a very small number of gates.

The 1553 PMC HyperBoard is based on Sital’s proven 1553, H009 and WB-194 (WMUX) IP cores, loaded into an FPGA (field programmable gate array) component and discrete components transceivers. The board can be programmed by Sital, allowing the flexibility to support a number of configurations and protocols using the same hardware.

The MultiComBox unit provides full MIL-STD-1553B testing, simulation and bus analysis capability in a compact self-contained unit. It connects to the host systems via a USB 2.0 interface and is provided with ‘C’ driver library and Windows GUI, providing a user-friendly software tool for all 1553 set-ups, data management and storage.

CAN bus testing and solutions for the automotive industry

Working with leading automotive manufacturers, Sital has applied its avionics and aerospace testing expertise to the rapidly-growing automobile-bus market. CAN bus applications are making major advances based on Sital’s extraordinary ability to apply its capabilities and products to the ever-increasing demands of automotive bus applications.

In recent years, Sital has developed unique technologies and products for detecting serial-bus faults during operation. This patented technology is capable of pin-pointing the location of a fault, even on intermittent faults of disconnections and short-circuits without interfering with the normal bus operation.

Projects for avionics and aerospace manufacturers

In addition to its development and manufacture of hardware and software products, Sital continues to undertake projects for North American, European, and Asian aerospace, avionics and automotive manufacturers and designers.
