Simulinc provides flight simulator consultation solutions for military and civilian aircraft applications.

We specialise in consulting services on flight simulator standards to the Australian Department of Defence (ADF), New Zealand Defence Force, Canadian Defence Force and the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). We have also been approved by the Royal Australian Air Force to conduct flight simulator accreditations.

Flight simulator accreditation testing consultancy

Simulinc contributes to flight simulator accreditation testing by:

  • Undertaking the accreditation on behalf of the Australian Regulatory Authority, which requires their approval for each case
  • Testing participation to achieve associated accreditations by being part of the team
  • Protecting interests by observing accreditation conduct as an external observer

Flight simulator evaluation (SIMEVAL) course

Simulinc’s flight simulator evaluation (SIMEVAL) training is a seven-day course comprising aerodynamics lectures and discussions, aerodynamics testing via a flight simulator and the seven subsystems that form a flight simulator. These include flight deck, control loading, and sound, visual, motion and computer systems, along with an instructor operating station.

Simulinc has more than 30 years of experience in flight simulator standards.
We contribute to flight simulator accreditation testing by participating as an independent observer in order to protect client interests.
The flight simulator evaluation (SIMEVAL) training course lasts for seven days and is aimed at supervisory flight crew or flight simulation training technical staff.
Customised training courses are also available to fulfil specific requirements.

Approved by CASA and ADF, SIMEVAL courses are created to fulfil customer needs in accordance with FSD-1 information, a criteria manual for the qualification of flight simulators (MCQFS), federal aviation administration (FAA), European aviation safety agency (EASA) and joint aviation requirement (JAR) standards. SIMEVAL is run by experienced Simulinc staff and designed for flight simulation training technical staff or supervisory flight crew. Prior flight crew experience is not essential, but we suggest taking a guided aerodynamics study prior to the course.

As well as consultancy services for the application of flight simulators in aviation training, Simulinc provides a customised training course using your facilities and simulators to address your training specifications.
